Who is the WannaBeScholar? He is a verbal expressionist, contemporary perfectionist, and sacred knowledge theorist….or something like that. WannaBeScholar joined the ranks of the blog world in the hopes of educating himself first and foremost by making the world cognizant of the reality that precedes them right before their eyes, yet eludes their intellect due to the ghufla (mindlessness) that we have all succumbed to.
WannaBeScholar has been told several times throughout his life that he has the heart of a lion….actually if you replace ‘heart’ with ‘name’ that might be closer to what most people who initially met me and know Arabic have said (my name is Asad), but you get the point either way.
Currently you can find me in a library, in the gym, or just wandering the Grounds as a fourth year at the University of Virginia (UVA). Me study the engineering are teach me speak the english good and I are do other things good too. (Alhumdulillah I have since graduated and am now in the “real world”….because obviously I wasn’t in the real world before….I think)
Other than that I am a fairly simple person. I enjoy reading about Islam and keeping up with all of the craziness around the world. I like basketball, tennis, and lifting weights regularly. I also enjoy just hanging out with humble people who know how insignificant this life really is.
